France Paris Le Chenin

We just arrived in Paris and while they were preparing our rooms in the Mercure Opéra-Louvre my wife found on TripAdvisor a nice little place Le Chenin that displays a nice menu at a reasonable price… We booked a table for 3 and here you go…

As you can see, it is a tiny place with not so much choice but fresh and with a nice service, talkative people with sense of humour and also product knowledge… still they will  need to convince me the chips have been fried twice!

The foie gras was delicious, the mains (beef tartare, grilled salmon and steak) were delectable and dessert looked and tasted home made… Really nothing to complain about! By the way they also have a nice wine list but we did not taste as we had plans to visit till late that day!

I recommend the place if you want to have nice food in a cozy place and with a smile… for sure not a Michelin star place but if you are looking for a place at a great price/quality ratio you have it! I also advise to book in advance as it is rather small 😉
