Switzerland Montreux La Rouvenaz

 We were staying in France Evian Hilton and a colleague told me that at the other side of the lake i.e. in Switzerland I would find a restaurant that may meet my expectation…

I cannot say he was fully right as we were coming back from Tuscany so my standards were higher than usual from an Italian food perspective even if it is also somehow part of the Swiss culture being closely related to Italy.

Between you and I, not bad for tourists but you feel that you have to eat fast, the menu is standard and the quality is standard! Read you do not feel you eat home-made cooking and volume of customers is the essence of the business there…

On the other hand I am sure that outside of holidays they turn more into a more relax place as my colleague explained…
