On our way to Tuscany, I made the call to go slow and stop every +-400Km so our first stop was Strasbourg and of course, as there is a Hilton there, I had to try it 🙂
This hotel was ideally placed as it was a nice 20 minutes walk to reach the Petite France which is the place to visit in Strasbourg and it offers a parking place and all the services you can expect from a Hilton in a business area including a business lounge 🙂
You can see here that the rooms are spacious and of good quality… the breakfast was also tasty and as diverse as it should be… It helped us to have all we needed to travel to Como Lake (Hilton as well of course…).
I won’t talk about the price as it would be unfair being a HHonors member I benefit from a discount but if you are around Strasbourg and you want to stay outside of the center… this is the place to go!
For completeness I need to mention that we did not use the restaurant so I can’t comment but the concierge has been kind enough to book us in the Petite France a typical local restaurant where we could find our happiness as I committed to French friends that I would have choucroute even with 30 degrees outside 🙂
Don’t be stuck on the location of the hotel itself as even if you don’t have a car, you can easily use the tram as well and the front desk will happily indicate you both how to go where you want to go and trust the concierge to do the necessary bookings!
