In 2011 Chapter 8 mentions a trip to Paris my wife and I had with the goal to visit the Orsay museum and unfortunately this the moment when we realised that my GvHD decided to brutally hit me and get me into cortisone and later photopheresis.

So I owed that visit to Isabelle and after a conversation with a couple of friends, we agreed to make her a surprise and spend a w-e including the museum’s visit…

So I specifically chose that hotel as it is ideally located and offers nice services… as usual in Paris the rooms are not huge but it was a decent Deluxe room and could get an upgrade to a larger room on the second day but not worth the hassle moving as we were there to visit Paris.

The concierge service did provide really helpful advices in terms of transportation and restaurants as due to the preparation of national strikes, the shopping was crazy and so it was full everywhere! When you look at the strikes now, you know why!

Here are some pics of the place including lounge and breakfast as yes they have an executive lounge with nice food and calm… the hotel was full for the reason above! Sometimes it is good to be lucky as one week later there was no train anymore.

I can only recommend you to go there if you can… great way to use your HHonors points to be upgraded… you can trust me, you won’t be disappointed and they’ll help you enjoying your stay even more!
