When we made the call to book this trip to St Emilion, we had a gap for Sunday’s dinner as we wanted to test another gastronomic place and Isabelle spent time looking for the best available opportunity close to the hotel… and here you go we selected this place 🙂.
The menus looked great and while visiting the village in the morning, we could look at the restaurant and it definitely looked promising…

By the way, make sure you do book a table as the place is usually packed and there are clearly really good reasons for that :-). The location is really nice and there is even a parking spot for disabled people (big help for me).

Then when you get into the place itself you realise that you come into a gastronomic space where you will have an experience and also enjoy your time! This include the menu as well!
So now you have the context in which we were when we started to eat… nice place with nice service, helpful, smiling, amicable, in short top!
These folks definitely delivered against their commitments, best fresh food, regional flavours and authentic cooking.
As a good example, I dislike beet but they managed to make it taste like a dessert!

The experience was simply a perfect evening including feeling pampered by a fantastic team who delivered flawlessly and gave us a great time! No mistake, no bump in the road but more like a silky smooth road there!
If you are in Gironde, this one is definitely worth a detour to pay a visit!
