The meal began with Fermented Oat, Trumpet, and Mosses, a dish that creatively blended flavors and textures, setting the tone for the extraordinary feast to come. The Gnocco, Tomato, and Sardine followed, a harmonious fusion of Mediterranean flavors that delighted our palates.

The Homemade breads, served with velvety butter and rich Olive Oil, were nothing short of divine. It was a unique and comforting addition to the meal, showcasing the chef’s dedication to perfection in even the simplest of elements.

Each subsequent course, from the Hamashi with Celtuce, Kefir, and Huacatay to the Catch of the day with Fava beans and Smoked eel, presented a symphony of tastes that delighted and surprised us with every bite. The Black pork with Pistachio and Lettuce was a true masterpiece, proving that culinary artistry is not just about taste but also about presentation.

The dessert offerings were equally impressive. The combination of Strawberry, Cucumber, and Pennyroyal was refreshingly delightful, and the Chocolate, Praliné, and Yuzu provided a sweet and tangy finish to our unforgettable meal.

To elevate our dining experience further, we entrusted the sommelier with a challenge: to amaze us with three glasses of different local wines, perfectly paired with each course. And amaze us, he did! The sommelier’s choices perfectly complemented the flavors of each dish, leaving us in awe of his expertise and creativity. His service was delivered with a warm smile and a sense of humor, adding a personal touch to the overall experience.

The impeccable service provided by the staff at Epur is undoubtedly worthy of its one Michelin star. Each member of the team demonstrated flawless professionalism and attentive care throughout the evening. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that they could also communicate fluently in French, making us feel even more welcome and at ease.

Epur’s talented chef has undoubtedly crafted a dining experience that deserves even greater recognition. As patrons, we would be thrilled to see Epur establish itself as an executive location, giving more diners the opportunity to experience the magic it offers. Moreover, highlighting a signature dish could further cement Epur’s place in the hearts of its guests. The “bread celebration” we experienced was nothing short of exceptional – an elevated bread course that left a lasting impression.
