Our venture to GOFIO was inspired by the prestigious Michelin guide, a beacon guiding us towards an extraordinary dining experience that could help us leave behind any culinary disappointments from the past. As we stepped inside the restaurant, we immediately sensed that we were about to embark on an exceptional culinary adventure.

The intimate atmosphere of GOFIO, with its capacity for around 20 guests, creates an immersive dining experience that is both modern and refined, yet vibrant with colorful touches. The ambiance sets the stage for what is about to unfold – a symphony of flavors, textures, and stories that will linger in our memories.

Upon perusing the menu, we found ourselves presented with an enticing choice: a 14-course secret menu, an alluring culinary tapestry woven with the essence of the Canary Islands. Opting for this extensive journey of flavors, we paired it with water to fully immerse ourselves in the culinary artistry that awaited us.

The unveiling of each course felt like unwrapping a gift, revealing layers of flavors and stories from the Canary Islands. From the “Eggs Stuffed with Black Potato, Red Tuna, and Mayonnaise” to the “Roasted Shuttle Tart with Cilantro Mojo,” each dish was a masterpiece that paid homage to the region’s culinary heritage while infusing innovative twists. The “Goat Butter Hollandaise” delivered a rich symphony of flavors that danced on the palate.

As the journey progressed, the “Chicken Croquette with Everything” paid tribute to Canary Island sandwiches, while the “Red Prawns with Parsley Mojo” showcased the exquisite marriage of freshness and technique.
