France Paris Le George

As mentioned in my previous article, I mentioned that we would take the opportunity being in Versailles to pay a visit to Le George which is a Michelin starred Italian restaurant based in the George V hotel in Paris centre.

If I am not mistaken, the chef Simone Zanoni, was before working in the Waldorf Astoria in Versailles where we did eat the day before…

The team still in anniversary mode

But before sitting in the restaurant, we did enjoy the place itself. The environment is fantastic and the hotel is basically giving an idea of what means “luxe a la française”.

It is now time to detail the dishes we deeply enjoyed…

Odoous cooked over a wood aven (ire, hagzelnute, kalamata alives, candied tomatoes
Beef carpaccio, black truffle
Citrus and red mullet risotto, bouillabaisse
Veal agnolottis, oyster mushrooms, full-bodied sauce
FIOR DI LATTE CHOCOLATE, MELILOT TONKA PANNA COTTA
CHEESECAKE CRÈME BRULÉE, EXOTIC FRUITS
Coming with coffee

We knew about the chef as a jury in French Top Chef TV show and we have not been disappointed by what he and his team deliver.
As we joined for lunch, next time we will go for dinner so that we can go for the discovery menu instead of the “a la carte” we liked a lot.

Sure you understand we liked the lunch and the place and I also highlight the service that was cool, nice, well dressed and efficient.

THANK YOU!
